Moonlight Darkby Katherine L. TracyCool twilight whispers night air, stroking silent slips in that space between dark and light. You loom across the room in your circling flight of time, strewing embers to the soul. Whenever you come, I lay, lingering in the melody of a falling sun as seraphs spread their darksome wings. You think I have no conception of what brings you to my bed- lifting silver bright to the night. Breaths glimmer, shimmering in grains of temporality, only to be swallowed by moonlight dark. ©Katherine L. Tracy Katherine Tracy publishes, edits, designs, and writes for Thunder Rain.
