L'Intrigue, the Wild Magnolia of Literature

Volume 12 - Issue I

Eye Interpretation

by Felino Soriano

The eyes of the watcher
transformed me.
A stranger into a block of wood,
silent, solid
unable to fathom what newness
could shape across the eyes
as does day twirling,
mimicking smoke within dawn's
yawning unassuming mouth.
